INCISIVE SURGICAL ANNOUNCES ISSUANCE OF KEY ABSORBABLE STAPLE PATENT
Minneapolis, September 26 – Incisive Surgical, Inc. today announced that the U.S. Patent and Trademark office has issued the company a new patent for its novel absorbable skin staple. The patent, “Dynamic Bioabsorbable Fastener for Use in Wound Closure”, broadly covers the INSORB® Absorbable Staple used in the INSORB Subcuticular Skin Stapler. The INSORB Skin Stapler is a mechanical stapler which uses absorbable skin staples to close wounds after surgery.
